Life of a nomad

Thank you for taking the time to view my blog. I am what you may refer to as a lost soul, I have dreams, ambitions but I still LACK the dream job. I love where I live and what I do for work. I can do it for extended periods of time. But in the end, my life revolves around discovery. If I had lived 200 years ago, I would have been an explorer. I love the sense of adventure and the feeling of being completely lost in another world of language, smells and sights. I have traveled extensively for nearly 7 years but there is still 155 more countries in the world for me to visit. Maybe if one day I said I was going to set off and complete 100 countries in 2 years, who would want to know about this. Would someone follow this story, want to document it and perhaps write a book... I love life and I live it to its limits. There must we a shiny object at the end of the tunnel for me... I am sure of it...

Rate Me 101

When thinking of an idea originally, how to get paid to travel. I had ideas flittering through my mind like shards of broken glass after an explosion... Nothing came together as a complete idea... But when you allow your idea to be hear and throw it into a mixing bowl of other ideas with other minds thinking in a relative sequential pattern, you begin to realize there may actually be something there.

As mentioned in earlier posts, I have been having some ideas in which I feel there is no better time in my life then to actually bite the bullet and perhaps jump on the loose ball. Because you just never know if that ball will lead you to another goal. So, here i my way of thinking, with this plan in mind sourcing all ideas to create a streamlined  online travel tool that will allow anyone the opportunity to view and utilize within their business. The idea is still growing, as I am aware of the competition at this point, but I am also needing a reputation. Now... a reputation these days is a difficult thing to gain. In order to gain  reputation, you need to be exposed to a lot of people and have a lot of people know who you are and have tried and tested results in the product or service you are supplying, presenting offering and so on.

In the strange 'world of Tim'... I came up with another idea which I hope to start off as more of an online blog which will act as a social network, reference portal and a key element  in building a reputation for myself with trusted reviews. Vancouver is a Mecca for restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs etc. You name it, you will find what you need within a 10 mile radius of downtown vancouver alone.  I want to start a group of individuals of all different backgrounds that will visit a new restaurant once a week and provide a review of the food, atmosphere, location, service etc. In hopes to either expose hidden gems or to assist the restaurants in a constructive manner to work on key areas that may not be working for them. With 7 years of experience in the Hospitality industry, combined with a team of similar experiences individuals, ranging from chefs to business owners, hairdressers to makeup artists the diversity with be unique but well informed and trusted. I love food and wine, and what a great way to combine them then to eat and then share this with the world. To me, good food is like traveling the world. When you taste something amazing, you want to tell everyone you know about how good it was. It builds a hunger to continue seeking more and more and with this hunger grows knowledge and understanding.

Once again, the idea is in infant stages and I would love for people to share ideas with me in hopes to make this project a big success...

Salute
